Info - XC Voss 2010
The competition is arranged by Voss Hanggliding and Paragliding Club and starts 26 of June and last until 28. This years Norwegian Cup will be a FAI category 2 competition and therefore give ranking points for FAI world ranking. The competition is open for all pilots that have PP5/IPPI5 and must be documented upon registration together with valid 3rd liability insurance.
Registration and waypoint uploading will be on the evening of the 25 of June and early 26 of June at Park Hotel. In addition it will be possible to upload waypoints from this website as soon as the WP-list is ready - see own link "Waypoints".
Payment Info
The competition fee is EUR 40 or NOK 300 if you register up front. For participants that don´t register up front the fee will be EUR 60 or NOK 450.

Maximum numbers of participants are 100 pilots.
All participants must upon registration show a valid PP5 or IPPI5 certificate in addition to valid 3rd party liability insurance.
We support all variations of GPS´s as can be found on the FAI website. Please note that we do not have cables for all sorts of GPS´s so bring along our own cable just in case.
For those of you who have compatible phones we will provide online tracking for spectators that want to follow the competition on the internet. Go to www.tracklog.org and follow instruction. Note that your phone needs to have GPS and possibility to run java programs.
For local airspace regulations please see link MAP on this website. There you will find a map illustrating the no fly zones. The only regulations we have during the competition are around the local airport Bømoen. There are a lot of parachute activity going on at Bømoen and we need to fly according to regulations.
